WAYS TO WIN
A match can be won by Points or Submission.
Submission(aka "Tapping Out" can be verbal or physical)
The referee is the sole arbitrator of the contest and has the authority to end the contest and deem a winner at anytime he/she feel fit.
This includes, but is not limited to, disqualification or for the health and safety of the competitors.
Points for positioning are awarded as follows(after position has been maintained for 3 seconds)
Take downs- 2 points
Side Control(Side Mount)- 2 points
Mount or Back Mount with both hooks in- 4 points
Sweeps- 2 points
No points for guard passing- points will be awarded for the following position established.
No slamming from the guard
No striking of any kind
No hair pulling
Fingernails and toenails must be trimmed
No twisting knee attacks (Heel Hook, Toe Hold, or any variation of) allowed in White and Blue Gi divisions
No Heel Hooks allowed in ANY Gi division
No neck cranks allowed in youth division
No below the waist submissions allowed in youth division
No jewelry allowed during competition
No liniment, lotion, oil, grease, or other lubricants allowed
No knee braces with metal, plastic, or any other abrasive material allowed during competition
No placing anything in an opponent's orifices(You'd be surprised.)
